AJ Patel, Senior Event Planning Manager

AJ began his Hyatt career in 1992 initially in Food and Beverage operations before becoming an Event Planning Manager in 1998. He has been a Senior Event Planning Manager at the Hyatt Regency since 2002.

Joey Ilagan, Event Planning Manager

Joey began his Hyatt career in November 1999 as an Assistant Banquets Manager at the Park Hyatt San Francisco.  He then transferred to the Hyatt Regency Burlingame in the same position.  A year later became an Event Sales Manager and then an Event Planning Manager. He has been at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco since 2006 as an Event Planning Manager

Angela de Mesa, Event Planning Manager

Angela brings a strong hospitality and event planning background to the team and is motivated to ensure each of our clients' events are a success!  She started her career with Hyatt in 2012 with years of experience at the Front Office, then was promoted to the Meeting & Events Manager in 2015 at the Hyatt House Emeryville.  With kindness and dedication, she enhances the experience of our hotel guests and meeting attendees to a new level.  Angela enjoys bringing people together and believes that the smallest details can make a difference.  She looks forward to welcoming you to the Hyatt Regency San Francisco!  

Zachary Apley, Event Concierge Manager

Zac began his Hyatt career in 2022 after planning his themed wedding and wanting to get back into Events.  

Richard Bacon, Senior Event Sales Manager

Richard’s career in Hospitality and Events spans over 30 years in the Bay Area.  He is committed to provide excellent customer service while making event planning easy, innovative, and fun.

Danielle Foley, Event Sales Manager

Danielle began her Hyatt career in 2017 as a Rooms Corporate Management Trainee at the Hyatt Regency Dallas. She relocated to the Hyatt Regency San Francisco in 2019 as an Event Concierge and became an Event Sales Manager in 2020.

Jessica DeMakas, Event Sales Manager

Jessica began her Hyatt career in 2013 as a Front Desk Host and moved to Event Sales in 2014. Since then, Jessica has worked in Event Operations and Group Sales. She has been an Event Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency since 2021.
